Christopher Michael Quintana

Chris was called home to our Heavenly Father on June 6, 2024 while surrounded by his family in Roy, UT.

Chris was born August 28,1966 in Ogden, Utah. Chris loved spending time with family and friends, he had great sense of humor and a wonderful smile, He enjoyed riding his bike along the trails, he enjoyed fishing and camping with family (pretty much anything outdoors)

Chris graduated from Ogden high School and then went on to Stevens Henagar College where he studied computer science. He attended ATC school for welding. Chris was so very talented and could fix pretty much anything from radios to cars and everything in between, in other words he was pretty handy.

Chris was a very proud father to four beautiful children, Ashley Quintana, Crystal Quintana, Daniel Quintana and Hannah Cervantes (adopted by the vigil family). He was a grandfather to two handsome grandsons, Caleb and Angelino.

Chris is survived by his mother, Lydia Vasquez, his father, Joe S (Virginia) Quintana, sister JoAnn (Emiliano Jr) Bravo, brother, John (Monica Salonis) Quintana, brother, Danny (Amanda) Quintana and sister Valerie (Jimmy) Stuart, sister, Renita Martinez along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Chris was the middle child of the five siblings.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents Della and Willy Quintana his grandmother Mary Louise Leon grandfather John Romero and his stepfather Gaspar Vasquez. I know they were all there to welcome him into Heaven.

When Chris was released home on hospice, he was given no more than a week but with the very loving care he got from our brother John, sister-in-law Monica and the help from his nurse Maggie and social worker Cortney (with hospice), we were able to have a few more months to hold him , converse  and love our beloved Chris.

Chris is and will continue to be greatly missed, he was a kind humble man who valued his faith, family and friends. Till we see you up camping brother……

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Lindquist’s  Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. Roy, UT 84067 from 6 to 8 p.m.   

The funeral will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St Mary’s Catholic Church 4050 S 3900 W. West Haven, UT 8440.  

A celebration of life will be held after the cemetery at St. Mary's Church to share a meal and some wonderful memories.
