Cindi Smith (Moon), 58, passed away on March 23, 2025, in Layton, Utah. She was born on November 28, 1966, in Farmington, Utah to Kathy Stayner and Bruce Moon.

Cindi was a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for painting crafts and scrapbooking, using her creativity to capture memories and express herself. More than anything she cherished the time spent with her family. She was always happy to see loved ones, never missing an opportunity to sit and visit. Before parting ways, she would make sure to ask for a hug from everyone-a small but meaningful gesture that reflected her warmth and affection.

She is survived by her mother, Kathy Haws; her husband, Curt Smith; her children, Ashli (Cory) Ritchey, Zach (Samantha) Smith, and Sarah (Amber) Smith; and her brother Troy (Alexia) Meyer. Cindi was also deeply loved by a large extended family on both sides. She was preceded in death by her father Bruce Moon; her mother-in-law Iva Lou Smith; her aunt Karla Smith; and her cousin Alicia Moon Patrick.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit with family Friday March 28, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday March 29, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Cindi’s kindness and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
