Cindy Gibbs Ospital

ROY- Cindy Ospital, 53, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 17, 2008.

She was born February 4, 1955 in Ogden, Utah to John R. and Joan Knudsen Gibbs.

Cindy graduated from Clearfield High School, attended Weber State University and also obtained her Barber''s License. She was employed at IRS for an amazing 35 years.

She married Steve Ospital and together they had two wonderful children, Amy and Kenny.

The last eight years of her life, Cindy has been actively involved in Alcoholics Anonymous. She has helped numerous people improve their lives. She was a board member of the National Federation of the Blind. Even though she was visually impaired she never let it get in the way of living her life and getting involved in anything she could to better herself and help others. She was happiest when she was helping others.

She loved jewelry, shopping, her little dog, Chibbee, the Utah Jazz, and spending time with her family and friends.

Cindy is survived by a daughter, Amy, a son, Kenny; her parents, John and Joan Gibbs, of Syracuse; and three brothers, Randy (Cindy) Gibbs, Orem; Todd (Lori) Gibbs, Farmington; and Gary (Kierstin) Gibbs, Centerville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23rd at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Saturday from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
