Cindy “Lou” Parrish
Our precious sister, Cindy Parrish, 58, passed away in the early morning in the home of her sister on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 surrounded by family. She was born on October 4, 1954 to John Spencer and FaDora Kennedy Parrish in Ogden.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cindy had an infectious smile and a quick wit. She loved to listen to the birds singing and see the sun shining. She enjoyed the laughter of little children. She was plagued with an illness and now our “princess” is free of pain and suffering.
Cindy lead a remarkable life. She is a woman who bore deep emotional and physical trials and yet was a ray of sunshine, smiles, and joking to all that knew her. She had the most important gift a human can have, a heart of love and compassion. She gave it freely to her family, the friends at the care center, the dying, the sick, and anyone else that had a story, she would listen. She often counted her own trials small when she heard the story of another, yet she bore her own quiet heartbreak in between the giving of her splendid heart.
She is now with her Mom Dad and her brother Terry. Her joy continues to ring in our hearts. Her soul, always felt.
Cindy is survived by her brother and sister, John Steven (Gloria) Parrish and Christy Ann (Clair) Cox and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Terrance Spencer Parrish.
