1933-2018

Claire J. Olsen, 84, returned to her heavenly home on January 8, 2018.  She was surrounded by loved ones as she passed softly to the other side of the veil.

She was born September 15, 1933 in Benjamin, Utah to Mark T. Cornaby and Leola (Billington).  She married her sweetheart Leland J. Olsen and was later sealed to him and their children in the Bountiful LDS Temple on June 3, 2000.

Claire was a beautiful mother, wife, sister and grandmother.  Her kindness knew no bounds.  She was an accomplished artist,  poet, seamstress and more.  She will be missed by the many hearts she touched.

She is survived by daughters Sharon Olsen, Valene (John) Wetzel, and Terri (Michael) D’Amico; brothers Gordon Cornaby, Douglas L. Cornaby, Ronald Isaac Cornaby, and sisters Virginia Cornaby and Kathleen Cornaby and their spouses.  Along with numerous grand and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father Mark T. Cornaby, mother Leola (Billington), sister Mary Lou Cornaby, brothers J. Boyd Cornaby, Preston W. Cornaby, son Lee Olsen Jr. and her sweetheart, Leland J. Olsen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Bountiful 58th Ward Chapel, 200 North 200 West, Bountiful, Utah where friends may visit family from 9:30-10:30am prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.  Arrangement entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.

A special thank you from the family to the caregivers of Rocky Mt. Hospice, the 58th Ward and Lindquist Mortuary for their kindness and support.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to LDS humanitarian fund.
