Clara May Hill

Clara May Hill OGDEN – Clara May Anderson Hill, 90, our sweet mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, returned to the loving arms of her husband, parents and daughter on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Clara was born April 8, 1919 in Taylor, Utah to August and Hephzibah Potter Anderson. She was the youngest of six children. Clara married Claude T. Hill on October 25, 1937 in Farmington, Utah. Claude passed away April 20, 1997 after 60 years of a truly great marriage. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she was active in the Primary for many years. She enjoyed collecting dolls and antiques and going to garage sales. However, her life’s most cherished work was her family. Born to Clara and Claude were two daughters, Joan Hill Draper and Linda Hill Hansing. Her beloved daughter Joan passed away on March 11, 2009. Clara is survived by her daughter, Linda Hill Hansing, four grandchildren, Michael T. (Shannon) Draper, Emily (Thad) Okerlund, Amber (David) Campbell, Ricky (Amber) Hansing, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 17 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends and family may call at the mortuary on Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Send condolences to the family at: www.lindquistmortuary.com
