Clara Delores “Dee” Larkin CLEARFIELD – Our wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Clara Delores “Dee” Shaw Larkin, 78, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born October 23, 1931 in Salt Lake City to Harry Clifford and Clara Moss Shaw. Dee married Arthur Conley. They were later divorced. On April 5, 1972, Dee married Steven Richard Larkin in Evanston, Wyoming. She retired from Hill Air Force Base following 30 years of service. Dee was a great mother and grandmother. She gardened, canned and froze all of the family crops. She was also an excellent seamstress, quilter and did all types of hand stitching. Surviving are her husband, Steven; five children, Areta (Reed) Bingham, Randy (Colleen) Conley, Vickie (Curt) Harris, Alan (Vi) Larkin, Richard Larkin, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The family expresses special thanks to Dr. Gary Christensen, her doctor and friend for 30 years and his staff. Thanks also to the doctors and nurses at McKay-Dee Hospital for their tender care and kindness.
