Clara L. Street

Clara L. Street SUNSET – Clara Lily Brangal Street, 91, died Monday, September 7, 2009 at Peach Tree Place in West Haven. She was born March 4, 1918 in Brigham City, a daughter of John and Alena Antonowitz Brangal. On July 5, 1937, Clara married James Enos Street in Ogden. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on June 28, 1957. James preceded her in death in 1992. She worked as a secretary for the U.S. Forest Service, Commercial Security Bank, Bank of Utah, Washington Terrace City, and the Dee Hospital. Clara enjoyed traveling, reading, painting, handwork, sewing, square dancing, playing cards and volunteering at Ogden Regional Medical Center and the Golden Hours Center. Surviving are three daughters, Clara Evelyn Jackson, Farr West; Linda Jernigan, Sunset; Sherry (Lynn) Smith, West Point; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Clara in death were her husband, parents, one brother, Elmer Brangal, grandchildren, Jill Richan, Janae Jackson, great-granddaughter, Deanna Jo Jackson, son-in-law, Jerry Jernigan and her friend, Ray Anderson. Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. Funeral Directors, Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
