Clare Eugene Lamberson

Clare Eugene Lamberson, 82, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008 at Ogden Regional Hospital.

He was born August 23, 1926 in Ogden, Utah to Clarence and Flora Rugg Lamberson.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a seaman during World War II.

On September 21, 1952, Clare married Carol Yedinak in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

He worked as a switchman/conductor for Union Pacific Railroad.

Clare was a member of the Holy Catholic Church.

He was also a member of the Elks Lodge and UP Old Timers.

Clare was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He always had a sunny attitude and was willing to help those that crossed his path. The thing he enjoyed most was spending time with his wife, Carol, and family. He loved the outdoors, traveling and photography.

Clare is survived by his wife, Carol; a son, Larry Clare (Sandy) Lamberson, South Weber; a daughter, Laura Lee Keele, Clearfield; four grandchildren, Adam Clare Keele, Todd Allen Keele, April (Ed) Grohs, Neal Clare (Selena) Lamberson; and two great-grandchildren, Gavin Grohs, Ocean Mathis; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Marge Patillo and Ruth Hodge.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South.

Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, where Military Honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
