Clarice McCarrel Androwsky

June 29, 1935 to September 29, 2012

Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on September 29, 2012 from complications due to lung and brain cancer. She was born June 29, 1935 to Faye Dee and Lovena McCarrel in Salt Lake City, Utah. She met and married Vincent (Andy) Androwsky April 13, 1989.

Clarice loved life. She graduated from Granite High School in 1953. She was an avid reader and loved to crochet, paint, and do any type of crafts. Clarice was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Beth Arabah Chapter 24, Clearfield, Utah. She and her husband, Andy dressed up at Christmastime every year as Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus as a part of the Shiners and American Legion. She loved to bake and will forever be remembered for her divinity, popcorn balls and fudge! She loved to go for long drives, or up to their property in northern Utah "just to go see her moose!"

She is survived by her husband, Vincent (Andy) Androwsky, her children Lovena (Jim) Bills, Douglas (Phyllis) VanAusdal, Eugene VanAusdal, Sherrie (Arthur) Olsen, Leonard (Pam) VanAusdal, her Brother Jim (Ardis) Everett and Sister Nadine (David) Tubbs. She was preceded in death by her Father, Fay Dee McCarrel, her Mother, Lovena McCarrel, and Brother, Leon Russel McCarrel.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11:00AM at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.
