Clark Ray Egbert, 71, of Ogden, Utah passed away on October 25, 2013. Clark was born on January 1, 1942 in Salt Lake City, to Allan W. Egbert and Jeanette Trottier Egbert. He was the first baby of the New Year and joined a brother and sister at home. Clark was raised in Ogden, Utah and graduated from Ogden High School in 1960. He joined the Marine Reserves and married his high school sweetheart, Sherilyn Sharp. They had three daughters prior to getting divorced. Clark worked as a manager at Safeway before becoming employed by the US Postal Service.
He married Mary Durrant in 1971 and together they had two daughters and lived in Ogden where Clark worked for the IRS. After they divorced, Clark moved to Arizona and began selling real estate. Several years later, he retired from the real estate business and moved to the east coast. In 1987, Clark married Audrey Saari and after her retirement they moved to Wyoming. Clark later returned back home to Ogden, where he enjoyed associating with friends and family. For many years of his life, Clark, along with his father and brother, developed two subdivisions, Lido Point and Azure Cove, at Bear Lake, Utah.
Clark''s hobbies included hunting and fishing, people watching, studying and playing the stock market, cruising, auction shopping, boating, and water skiing at Bear Lake. He loved to travel and visited every state in the union. His best friend was his brother, Jerry and they enjoyed many good times and fishing trips together.
Clark is survived by his four daughters, Debbie (John) Sparks of Cokeville, WY; Kate Miller of Ogden; Jodi (Bryan) Tinker of Manila; and Tanya Egbert of Spanish Fork; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Sue) Egbert of Ogden; along with several nephews and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Kay Egbert; parents; and sister, Valerie Luddington.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
Clark loved people and had many friends. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
