Clark Alton Young
SYRACUSE – Clark Alton Young passed away Friday, May 4, 2012 at the age of 75. He was a kind, soft spoken, uncomplaining, patient man and a devoted husband.
He was married to Alice Reyes, who passed away November 9, 2011.
He was born January 2, 1937, the only son and youngest child of Alton B. and Celia Sperry Young.
His siblings are Dorothy (Allen deceased) Paterakis, Afton (Philip) Young, both of Layton, Utah; Ruth (Noel deceased) Robins, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Shirley (Blair) Barber, Syracuse, Utah.
He married Carol Mattson, (divorced) from their union they had four children, Jeff C., Guy, Shauna (Eldon) Holmes and Lane (Le Ann). He helped raise Alice’s seven children and considered them his own, Michelle (Dave) Glinski, Danny (Jeanie), Raul, Andy (Kelly), Steve, Larry, Monica Reyes.
Clark graduated from Davis High in Kaysville, Utah. Worked at Hill Air Force Base, moved to Arizona and worked at Davis Monthon Air Force Base. He was a handyman and an electrician by trade. He and Alice moved to Syracuse, Utah, five years ago from Arizona.
Clark requested to be cremated and no funeral.
