Claudia Miller Kirk passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at her home.

She was born June 24, 1951 in Brigham City, Utah to Don Crawford and Sharon Gilbert Miller.

On March 15, 1972, Claudia married Glen Anthony Kirk in the Logan Temple and they recently celebrated their 46th anniversary.

She earned her Bachelor of Science from Utah State University. Her first job was at Junction City Memorial Hospital while Glen was stationed at Ft. Riley, KS. It was there she learned the basics and started her medical career. Later she worked for over 20 years at Davis Hospital with the last ten years serving as lab manager. Following her time there she served as lead technologist of her department at ARUP with the U of U.

Claudia was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Her favorite thing was having her grandkids around her.

She is survived by her husband, Glen, Hooper; their children, Jacob (Molly) Glen Kirk, West Haven; Jared Don Kirk, Layton; James (Jenny) Kirk Stephen City, VA; Melissa (Charles) Kirk Bitter, Front Royal, VA; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Gilbert (LyleAnn) Miller, Bear River City; and Marvin Miller, Corinne. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grand-daughter, Jenna Kirk.

Private services will be held for family at the Hooper Cemetery. The family will meet with friends Friday, October 19th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
