Claudia Rayl

May 8, 1933 — February 1, 2025

Our sweet mother, sister, grandmother and dear friend, Claudia C. Rayl passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 91 years old. Peacefully returning to our loving Heavenly Father, she will be missed.

Claudia was born on May 8, 1933 in Provo, Utah to Claud “O” Carter and Katherine Tanner. She married and was sealed to Clifford L. Rayl in the Salt Lake Temple. They had six children together, Susan, Gary, Glen, Keith, Blaine and Brent. They adopted four more, Chris, Melody, John and Richard.

She was preceded in death by our Dad (Clifford), Melody and Keith. She is survived by the rest of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. She was able to say she had five living generations on this earth. Which is an accomplishment when you are 91 years old.

As she raised her family, she spent time sewing, gardening and knitting hats for charity. She was always willing to teach and share her experiences about bees, raising chickens and helping others.

We are grateful to Brent, Brenda and Blaine who spent many hours helping her so she could live peacefully at home. Much love to those of you who understand how much care and responsibility goes into seeing to the needs of an elderly parent. Your willingness to serve is much appreciated.

Graveside services will be Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Centerville City Cemetery 650 E. 400 S. Friends may visit family Sat. from 12:00 – 1:30 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. prior to the graveside services.
