Clayton Fredrick Risch

Clayton Risch, 77, of Ogden, Utah passed away suddenly on the morning of January 27, 2025.

Clayton was born in beautiful Vancouver, B.C. where he and his sister were raised by their loving grandmother. 

He enjoyed his employment at the historic Hotel Vancouver until he chose to move to California to be closer to family. 

Clay married Karen in 1984 and later divorced. His brother-in-law, John, convinced Clay to move to Ogden in 2009 and so Clay ended up working at Impact Guns.

Clay was passionate about his books, his gun collection, and our family dinners. Uncle Clay loved to spoil the kids at Christmas time.

We are so grateful to Impact Guns as he sure enjoyed his coworkers and longtime customers. We appreciate the outpouring of kindness from everyone at Impact.

Thank you to the staff at McKay-Dee Hospital who were so good to him during his frequent hospital stays, the last several years.

Clayton is survived by his sister, Rhona (John); his niece, Angela (Manuel); and his grandniece and grandnephew. 

We will all miss Clay so much. R.I.P.
