Cleo Ann Glauser Jensen
KAYSVILLE a" Cleo Ann Glauser Jensen, 73, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in her home, due to natural causes. Ann was born January 11, 1937 in Logan, Utah. She is the oldest daughter of Theodore F. and Cleo Allen Glauser. After meeting at Utah State University, Ann married Grover Dwight Jensen on September 19, 1956 in the Logan Temple. Ann was the devoted mother of seven children and 21 grandchildren, soon to be 22.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by four sons and three daughters: Christian Dwight (Rebecca) Jensen, Littleton, Colorado; Richard Kirk Jensen, Park City; Jonathan Ted (Jill) Jensen, Reno, Nevada; Jeremy Karl (Carmen), Seattle, Washington; Robin (Kyle) Hansen, Ely, Nevada; Heidi (David) Busk, Bountiful; Jennifer (Siba) Mohanty, Reno, Nevada.
Ann touched the lives of many people. She was an active member of the Kaysville 2nd ward. She has served in numerous church callings from Sunday school teacher at age 16 in River Heights, Utah to Stake Relief Society President in Farmington, Utah, and most recently "Grandma Ann" served as a beloved nursery leader.
Ann faithfully served two full time missions for the LDS Church. First at the Washington, DC Temple from 2002-03 and then in Birmingham, England from 2006-07. She worked for 20 years at the Lion House in Salt Lake and regularly served in the Bountiful Temple. Ann shared her strong testimony of the savior and the restored gospel with all.
Ann lived an active life, full of family, faith and service. Her greatest calling was "mother" and "grandmother". Spending time with family was very important to her. Her best friends were her sisters Sharon, Joan, Barbara, and Julie, and she received strength from her brothers Jim and Lynn. They spent a lot of time together and took care of each other.
Ann had many passions and loved her life. She was often seen walking in the early morning. She loved music, was an amazing seamstress and enjoyed gardening. She was also a fabulous cook and loved to have her family over for Sunday dinner. She was in The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and loved her associations with the women. Most recently Ann was excited about genealogy and family history. She wrote many excellent histories that will always be cherished by her posterity.
Ann''s positive attitude was one of her greatest attributes. She was a great listener and always lifted the spirits of others. Ann was loved by all and loved all.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville LDS Chapel, 50 West 331 South. Friends may visit family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
