Cleo Francis Norton Johnson
August 14, 1930 ~ June 3, 2022
Cleo passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 3, 2022. She dedicated her life to service and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings. She loved the arts that included ceramics, sketching and music to name a few.
Cleo was always writing - with her famous calligraphy one could only hope they received a letter from her. Anyone who knew Cleo might remember her chuckle, her smile and her delicious meals that most likely included ingredients from the family garden. Cleo loved secretary work which took most of her time, but as soon as a grandkid came around her passion took the back seat because her grandchildren were the light of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eric Blaine Johnson; parents, Frank Antone and Clista Norton; her sister, Lorna and Ferris Johnsen; along with her son, Vincent Blaine Johnson.
Cleo is survived by her son, Keven and Marilyn, Mesa AZ; daughter, Leesa and Ed Anderson, South Jordan; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Sagewood at Daybreak and Hospice for their devoted care through the years.
Following Cleo’s wishes there will be a private graveside service held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
