Cleo Mae Campbell McEntire

Cleo Mae Campbell McEntire was born on December 4, 1924 in Ogden Utah to Clara  Wardly and Harry Campbell. She had two siblings, Chole C.Raymond and Harry A. Campbell. She graduated from Ogden High School and continued to get her AA degree at Weber.

She married her 10th grade high school sweetheart on September 15, 1944 in Ogden, Utah. During their marriage they had two daughters, Janet and Jill. Their life was an adventure traveling to many places the Air Force took them. In each new location, she made it her goal to make a warm home and safe environment for her family. They enjoyed many assignments in the United States and Germany. She was a wonderful Air Force wife and mother. After they retired from the Air Force they fulfilled a dream and built a cabin in Liberty Utah. For many years they spent their time split between Liberty, Utah and San Marcos, California. After Mother lost her beloved Don in January 1998 she remained in her San Marcos, California home.

Cleo is survived by four sisters-in-laws, Barbara Campbell, Diann Roberts, Janice Ingalls, and Pat McEntire her daughters, Janet Honadle and Jill McEntire; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don B McEntire; brother, Harry Campbell; sister, Chloe Raymond; sisters-in-law, Berniece Dunford, Darlene Ives, Marie McEntire, and Victoria McEntire; brother-in-laws, Robert Raymond, William Dunford, Robert McEntire, Glen McEntire, and Ted Ives.

Graveside services will be held at the mortuary on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, at 11 a.m. at Liberty Cemetery.
