Clifford Chris Buckley, Jr. passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Heritage Care Center in American Fork.

He was born August 12, 1967 in Provo, Utah to Clifford Chris Buckley, Sr. and Paula Jean Mason. He was raised and educated in the Layton/Roy area, graduating from Roy High School in 1985.

He moved to Utah County and worked with his cousins at JDM Drywall. Following that, Clifford joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served during Desert Storm.

In 1994, he married Monica Contreras in San Diego, CA. Together they had a daughter, Savannah Cheyenne. They later divorced.

He was a member of the LDS church.

Clifford enjoyed hunting and fishing at the community ponds in Roy and Syracuse. He also enjoyed fishing in Alaska, Wyoming, and Montana.

He is survived by his parents; his daughter, Savannah Cheyenne; and three brothers, Jerry Shane Buckley, Jesse Buck Buckley and Kyle Dean Crosby. He was preceded in death by his Aunt Margaret Jono Carson, Aunt Lois Ann Buckley, Uncle Michael P. Mason, and grandparents, Margaret June and James K. Thorsen, Paul Mason, and Dorotha and Jerry Buckley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
