Clifford J Conti, age 72, reported to his Supreme Commander, peacefully in his sleep, on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.  He was born on March 21, 1945 in Denver, CO, the son of Anthony and Juanita Fay Lockett Conti.

He married Vanita Kibbe and they were later divorced, but remained very good friends.

Cliff joined the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict at the tender age of 17.  He was wounded in combat and was awarded the Purple Heart.  He also served on numerous ships and commands during his 30 years of faithful service, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 in 1992.  In retirement he enjoyed golfing, traveling and camping.  Cliff stayed friends with many of his Navy shipmates some of whom he served with over 40 years ago.

Clifford is survived by his brother, Uriah Ray; sisters, Linda Kelly, Diane Rok, and Pamela Kerr.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A service for Clifford will be determined at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
