ROY- Clifford Duwane Hoskins passed away of natural causes on Friday, March 11, 2011 surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 16, 1935 in Brigham City, Utah the son of Oliver Clifford Hoskins and LaVern Taylor. He married Myrna Lee Bullock on October 14, 1953 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on January 15, 1992.

Clifford was raised in Portage and he worked in Utah and Idaho as a heavy equipment operator. He loved gardening, rebuilding tractors, he liked electric trains and family reunions. He enjoyed Lava Ranch, fishing, camping, and vacationing with his family and friends. He liked to go rock hunting, finding stones, cutting and polishing them.

He had a strong love for his family and gatherings with children, grandchildren and friends, and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Myrna B. Hoskins, Roy; one son Rick Hoskins, daughters: Colleen (Bruce) Hawes, Ogden; Sandy (Brent) Cole, Harrisville; Karen (Harry) Crawford, Clinton; DeAnne (Lawrence) Tafoya, West Haven; Tamie (Gregg) Cunningham, Rapid River, Michigan; daughter-in-law, Londa Hoskins, 24 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also, brothers Jerry (Emma) Hoskins and Jack (Anne) Hoskins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters: Larue Nichols, Betty Hoskins, son Blain Hoskins and great-grandson Benjamin Burton.

The family would like to thank Legacy for their professionalism and kindness.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 16th, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S.

Family will meet friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
