OGDEN- Clifford LeRoy Larson passed away on August 12, 2011 at Crestwood Care Center surrounded by his family.

He was born on June 24, 1917 in Ogden, Utah to Fred A. Larson and Carrie Jensen Larson. He was raised in Ogden where he lived his whole life.

He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Utah in Geology.

Cliff married Vivian Rose Hurd on June 26, 1943 in Ogden, Utah. They were married for 68 years.

Cliff and Vivian wintered in Deseret Center, CA.

He was quite an entrepreneur selling insurance, stocks, bonds and sporting goods. He was a locomotive engineer for Southern Pacific Rail Road where he retired after 37 years of service.

His passion was hunting, fishing and golfing. Cliff loved traveling in his Airstream trailer with Vivian at his side.

Cliff is survived by his favorite daughter Kathleen Susan Lowe and his favorite son-in-law Greg Lowe, also a favorite granddaughter Nicolette Lowe.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Carrie Larson, and sister, Fern (Dale) Robbins and many friends.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday August 16 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary.
