Clifford Jim Moody

Clifford Jim Moody, 52, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 19, 2017.  He was born on November 9, 1964 in Ogden, Utah, to Clifford John and Marlene (Jimenez) Moody.

He married Debra Petersen Kent on June 5, 1999 in Ogden, Utah.

A longtime mechanic, Jim loved cars and motorsports, running cars at the old Bonneville Speedway and in demolition derbies. He loved outdoor recreation and playing pool. Jim was often found helping others and especially adored his grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his wife, Debra; mother, Marlene (Larry) Jensen, Farr West; children, Brittanie (Steven) Masten, Valdosta, Georgia, Crystal (Eric) Peterson, Nathan (Amanda) Kent, both of Clearfield, and Nicole Kent, Ogden; ten grandchildren; special niece, Samantha Jubb, Tooele; brothers, Robert Moody and Richard (Chris) Jensen, both of Ogden; and grandmother, Evelyn Jensen, North Ogden.

He was preceded in death by his father, John; a granddaughter, Eden Sabrina Peterson; and beloved grandparents, Vera Jean Moody and Graciano R. Jiminez.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Evergreen Memorial Park.  Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
