Clifton Larmor Jensen
October 4, 1930 ~ February 14, 2016
SUNSET - Our Loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Clifton Larmor Jensen, left this earth peacefully to be with his sweetheart on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2016 at age 85.
Cliff was born on October 4, 1930 in Ogden, Utah to Larmor Christian Jensen and Madolin Jane Ball. He was raised and attended school in Ogden graduating from Ogden High School. Cliff served for two years in the US Army during the Korean War. After returning home he married Lois Barton on May 1, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Soon after they purchased a home in Sunset, Utah where he resided and was active in the community for over 60 years.
Cliff retired from the American Can Company. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them camping and playing. He loved to be outdoors and was often seen on his walks miles from home. Cliff was a quiet man who observed and served, always lending a hand with his children or grandchildren’s projects. He also enjoyed attending all of the activities and programs they were involved in.
Cliff is survived by his son, Larry Jensen of South Weber; daughter, Ranette Brower of Clearfield; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois; mother, father, and sister, Norma Stephens.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Peachtree Assisted Living and Brighton Home Care and Hospice for their loving care to Cliff whom we loved so much.
