Clinton Earl Hassell, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 29, 2024. Clinton was born on June 7, 1941, in Robersonville, North Carolina, to his loving parents Viola and Robert Brown.
Clinton dedicated a significant portion of his life to serving his country. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force, where he served as a Tech Sergeant. His commitment and sacrifice in the military demonstrate his unwavering dedication to protecting and serving the nation.
After his honorable service, Clinton pursued a career at Job Corp where he continued to make meaningful contributions. His work ethic and passion for his job inspired those around him.
Outside of work, Clinton enjoyed various hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He was an avid fisherman who found solace by the water, a golf enthusiast who appreciated the outdoors, and a skilled gardener who nurtured beautiful blooms.
In his personal life, Clinton was surrounded by a loving family who meant the world to him. He is survived by his devoted wife Susan Hassell, children Scott, Iris, and Clifton, as well as grandchildren Becky, Alex, Curtis, Andria, Anthony, Richie, and Jerrell. His legacy further lives on through his great-grandchildren Leila, Kaleani, Amari, and Kiyomi.
He was preceded in death by his two sons Kenny and Clayton as well as remembered parents Viola and Robert Brown.
Clinton Earl Hassell touched the hearts of many with his kindness, dedication, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that he leaves behind a lasting impact on those whose lives he touched.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Syracuse Mortuary. 869 South 2000 West, Syracuse. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 1700 West, Bluffdale, UT, where full military honors will be accorded.
