Clinton Shumway

Clinton Shumway, 43 of Layton Utah passed away on December 19, 2016 surrounded by family at McKay-Dee hospital.

He attended Layton High and St Joseph's High School.  He worked construction most of his life and later ran his own business Green Life Cleaning.  He was member of the Catholic Church.

He married Danielle Boyce on June 22, 1995.  They were later divorced.  Together they had three beautiful sons.

Clint loved music and playing his guitar.  He enjoyed drawing and was an amazing artist.  He was an avid sports fan, especially football and fantasy football.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his sons and family.

He is survived by two sons, Kendrick Shumway, Tristin Shumway, father Brad Shumway, mother Cathy Heywood, brother Jason Shumway, sister Jacque Brown (Jason Brown), two nephews, one niece, grandparents Neil and Mary Lou Sullivan and step-brothers and sisters.

He is now with his son Skyler who preceded him in death, his stepfather Robert Heywood and grandparents Don and Fay Shumway.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Roy City Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his son Skyler.

Services will be entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
