Cody Lawrence Herrera

Cody Lawrence Herrera returned to his Heavenly Father on October 25, 2012. His parents Barbara Jean Lindley Trainor and Lawrence Thomas Herrera welcomed him into their life on July 28, 1984.

Cody grew up in Layton, Utah where he graduated from Layton High School. He then graduated as a cosmetologist from Taylor Andrews and soon after became a master barber. He enjoyed many things in life but his true passion was hair. Cody was known for his crazy sense of humor and was a truly unique "one of a kind soul" who would do anything for anyone. We will always remember his funny laugh and contagious smile. His big heart grew even bigger when he met the love of his life, Ashley Wareham and together they welcomed their beautiful baby girl Lila Jane Herrera. Lila Jane''s birth brought a special sparkle in his eyes and he enjoyed every minute he spent with her.

Cody is survived by his parents; daughter, Lila Jane Herrera; sister Cassie Selim of Ogden and brothers Cory Herrera of Arcada, CA and Chad Clifford of Manassas, VA; grandparents, Merle and Barbara Lindley of Ogden and Matilda Herrera of Temecula, CA; and his loving companion Ashley Wareham, Woods Cross.

We welcome his friends and family to join us as we celebrate his life at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street, Kaysville UT, and will meet with friends one hour prior to the services.
