Cody Allen Linke

On Thursday, May 10, 2007 we lost our beloved son, brother, daddy, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Cody Allen Linke succumbed to injuries sustained in an auto accident. Cody was surrounded by love as he left this life.

Cody was born on August 7, 1990 in South Ogden, to Rebecca Ann Zwicker Linke and Robert Allen Linke Jr. He was the second of three beautiful children and the only boy.

He was attending Washington High School. He met and fell head over heels in love with Samantha Dawn Adams. They were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Righley Allen Linke, on Easter evening of 2007. Cody was a dedicated father, spending any and all available time with Righley. He went to school, held a full time job(many times working up to 14 hrs. a day) and still made sure he had time to dedicate to his little boy and family. He was an extremely hard worker. Cody loved to play basketball at home with his family. His little sister, Kelsi looked at Cody as her hero. He would jump on the trampoline with her; spending very important one on one time with her. Cody and his big sister, Kristen, were best friends. They would confide in each other with anything. He was always there to lend a helping hand when anyone needed help. Cody was the second oldest grandson and he was active in his little cousins'' lives. Cody (aka Tody) was a great buddy to all of them and he will be greatly missed.

Cody is survived by his beautiful baby boy, Righley Allen Linke, and the love of his life, Samantha Dawn Adams. His loving parents, Robert and Rebecca; his sisters, Kristen (Tyler) Purchase, Kelsi Marie, and niece, MiyahAnn Purchase. His grandparents, Henry and Carol Zwicker, Jr., and Sandra (Hadley) Barker. His great-grandparents Verna (London) Hadley and Henry Zwicker, Sr. His aunts and uncles, Joan Christians, Andrew (Joy) Zwicker, Jennifer Martinez, Charity (Arnold) Castleberry, Randy (Keli), Troy (Nadine) and Jeremy. He is also survived by many cousins, great aunts and uncles and friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Allen Linke, Sr. and his great-grandparents, Ambrose Hadley, John and Johanna Christians, and Elthea Zwicker.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may visit family at the mortuary on Monday, May 14, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m.
