Cody Hulse Murray, 39, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011, peacefully surrounded by family and friends due to complications following heart surgery.

Cody was born February 13, 1972, the son of Craig Maughan and Marie Hulse Murray. He was a member of the LDS Church and loved fishing, hunting, drawing and spending time with family. He had lived in Syracuse, Vernal, and Rock Springs, WY.

Cody had a magnetic personality and loved everyone. He was a friend to all. He was always the favorite uncle of his nieces and nephews. He loved spending time in the outdoors and with his family. He especially loved spending time with his daughter Riley. He was a hard worker who brought joy to every situation. He had a gift to make everyone laugh with his great sense of humor and love in his heart for everyone. We will miss you Cody!

Cody is survived by Craig and Marie Murray (parents), Riley Murray (daughter), Kellie Petersen (Cody''s love and Riley''s mother), Kurtis Murray (Charie), Eric Murray (Shelli), Lance Murray (Natalie), Heather Stuart (Danny), Trevor Murray (Tiffany), Jason Murray (Heidi), Nicholas Murray (Lauren), Merrill W. Hulse (grandfather), and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by grandparents Ken and Ceila Murray, grandmother Blanche Hulse, and nephew Cory Murray.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Syracuse Jensen Park Ward, 3024 S. 1200 W. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
