Cody James Wilson
November 14, 1981 ~ April 5, 2021
This redneck entered this world full of piss and vinegar on November 14, 1981 from the first love of his life and his mom, Cathy Wilson at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT. He grew up in Ogden and Willard. He spent his childhood being spoiled by Grandma Lenna and Carl and at the times when he was in trouble, being grabbed by his ear and dragged back to the house by Granny Grunt. He attended most every school in Ogden as he was not interested in being a nerd, but he did graduate from South Jordan School District.
Cody was a man that was a friend to all as soon as he met you and when you became a part of his life you were family. He loved being outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheelers, mudding, shooting, and a campfire with a friend, or 20, a smoke and a beer. He had eight youngin’s that grounded him and his wild spirit and that he left each with a piece of his heart and stubborn nature, Tristen, Summer (Cole), Kayden, Chalenna, Brinlee, Layne, Lillie and Jayde. He also loved and adopted Dakota, Patti, Haylee, Morgan, Savana and Triston. Cody was a dad to most of the kids he was around and loved all his little buddies and would tease them all the same.
Cody worked his backside off at various jobs throughout the years and in the end he worked at Alton coal mine where he was a heavy equipment operator. This was a job he was proud to be a part of and truly loved.
He was the oldest of four, he had three sisters, Kimberly Ann Wilson, Ilene Aubrie Hamilton, and HIS Ashley Lee Allen. He also has two brothers, Kasey Brent Moss and his brother in crime, in blood, in family and life Andrew Ethan Allen. He had many, many brothers in arms.
There was one very special lady that had roped his heart and touched his soul and was truly his ride or die forever, Jennifer Rae Pollock. He found his calm with her and living his country boy ways in Tropic, UT.
He had a grandbaby Marley and one (baby Dawson) on the way that he is currently cradling in his arms while he rests his eyes in heaven.
He was preceded in death by his safe haven in the storm of life, his Grandma Lenna Hamilton, Donald Wilson aka dad, and friends Guthrie Campeau, Trevor Martin, Travis Martin, Nick Accordino and KC Simmons.
Cody lived his life HIS way and gave not a single #*@k about your thoughts about it. He loved with everything he was, would help in any way at any time just ask and was loyal to the very end. Until Valhalla friend, miss your face until we meet again.
