Cole Andrew Ovard
Cole Andrew Ovard, 16, passed away unexpectedly at Primary Children’s Hospital after a long struggle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He passed peacefully in his sleep with his parents at his side.
Cole was loved by all that knew him, his smile was infectious and loved to make friends. He was kind and gentle; loved all kinds of animals. He was his younger brother’s biggest supporter and loved to cheer him on at his sporting events. He loved to play video games, watch movies, fish and discuss Marvel Comics. He enjoyed playing board games and cards with his family; he absolutely hated to lose. He loved fast cars, music, the Denver Broncos and Legos. He dreamed of joining the Army as a drone pilot when he got older.
He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Trish Ovard, Jonah Ovard (brother).
A special thanks goes out to all the doctors and nurses at Primary Children’s Hospital and University of Utah that worked tirelessly to make his life better.
