“Together Again”

WARREN – Colleen Burnett Hogge, 74, left this world to return into the loving arms of her eternal companion, Ronald Hogge on Sunday, January 10, 2016.  She was born on October 5, 1941 to Milton and Lila England Burnett.  She grew up in Clinton, Utah and graduated from Davis High.

Colleen married the love of her life, Ronald Ernest Hogge on November 21, 1969.  Together they had one son, Justin Hogge.

Colleen worked at Hillfield, Plain City Elementary as an aide, and IRS.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in numerous callings such as playing the piano in Relief Society, Visiting Teacher, and she was a very dedicated Missionary Pen-Pal.  Even though Colleen was physically unable to get around, she ALWAYS checked up on friends, neighbors and family by sending letters, cards or phone calls.

Colleen loved horse races, Utah Noodle, watching the Today Show, Dr. Pepper, cheeseburgers with “NO” cheese, going to Mink Creek with her sister, going to see the leaves with her friend Carolyn, and traveling to Alaska.

Colleen has given many people the opportunity to serve.  She has left us with cherished memories and immeasurable love.  Our hearts are broken and we will miss her tremendously.

Colleen is survived by her son, Justin Hogge; her sister, Shirley (Lynn) Wilcox; brothers-in-law, Harold Nelson, Gary (Carolyn) Hales, Kenny (Renee) Hogge, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Warren Ward Chapel, 856 North 5900 West.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p. m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd.  and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Warren Cemetery.
