Colleen Roholt Kingsford

Colleen Roholt Kingsford (85) returned to her heavenly home to be reunited with her sweetheart, Verl, on Thursday, December 14, 2017.

Colleen was born on April 14, 1932 to James C. and Mary Ames Roholt in Cleveland, Idaho.

She met and married Verl Ballard Kingsford on September 2, 1950 in Elko, Nevada. They lived happily together until Verl’s death in 2004.

Colleen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked for many years for the government as a civil engineer. She had many interests, including bowling, dancing, and golf. She spent many a day on the golf course with her brothers, sons and grandsons.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Rolholt; husband, Verl; sisters, Ora and Anna; brothers, James, Delvid and Ariel. She is survived by her sons, Chris and Steven; daughter, Kayleen; and a great legacy of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. 400 E. (Washington Blvd.). Friends may visit with family on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m at the mortuary.
