Colleen L. Sherwood Loveland

September 24, 1929 ~ September 30, 2015

Colleen L. Sherwood Loveland, 86, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.

She was born on September 24, 1929 in Ogden, Utah to George Ray and Esme Jean Sim Sherwood.

She married Chauncy Ray Loveland on March 15, 1947.

Colleen worked at the Terrace Pharmacy and at the Defense Depot of Ogden.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband and their Good Sam Club.  She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, serving others, and making sure her family was all together for the holidays.   She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings in the Relief Society and in the Young Women.

Colleen is survived by her children, Lyle Dean Loveland, Brett Layne Loveland, Georgia (Mike) Enlow, and Jill Johnson; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Craig Sherwood; and four sisters, Elvira Jacobson, LaDawn Manning, Patsy Gittins, and Judy Olsen.

She is preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Inez Fleming, and Sandra Stewart; three brothers, Ray Sherwood, Gary Sherwood, and Stephen Sherwood.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  The family will meet with friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the Mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
