“Together Again”

Colleen Lucille Hudman Saxton, age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Quail Meadows Assisted Living in North Ogden.  She was born on February 19, 1924 in Idaho Falls, Idaho the eldest child of Jerome and Bernice Dowd Hudman.

On October 22, 1941 she married Carl Wright Saxton.  He preceded her in death on June 10, 1984.

She worked many jobs, retiring from the Forest Service in 1982.  Her favorite job title was Grandma, not just to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but to all their friends as well.

Colleen is survived by her children, Dennis (Susan) Saxton of Ogden and Carla (Jim) Harvey of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Tamie (Mike), Michael (Kim), Brian, and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Dallas, Kaylee, Madison, Ashleigh, Tanner, Kaycee, Mason, and Lexi; and siblings, Wes (Delores), Gary (Vanessa), Ray (Marlene), Karen, Shawn, and Patricia; as well as many nieces and nephews, and Karen (Terry) and Zach Talbot, who were all very dear to her.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Bonnie, Marilyn, and Ben.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
