Colton Terrell Lewis, born March 2, 1994, in Layton, Utah passed away in his home August 14, 2022.
Colton grew up in Davis County, residing in Layton, Clinton, and West Point, Utah. He graduated from Syracuse High School in 2012. He always aspired to follow in his father’s footsteps and eventually accomplished that by becoming a mechanic working on Snowplows and Big Riggs. Colton enjoyed his job and worked hard to become a leader in the workplace.
Despite the tremendous odds he faced, Colton was always a miracle child. He survived many hardships starting from day one and continuing up until he passed. He will always be remembered as a fighter. He was always out to prove something to others. If he set his mind to something he would go above and beyond to see it accomplished.
He was quick with a joke and loved to make people laugh. Colton enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, camping, and working on cars. He loved his people and would give them the shirt off his back if he knew they needed it. He thought of others before himself and was loyal, dedicated, hardworking, generous, and loving up until the end.
Colton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Wilson, Susan Wilson, and Emery Bowen Lewis. Colton is survived by his parents, Terrell and Tana Lewis, and Melanie and Jeff Gibson; siblings, Shaeley (Ben) Reeder, Maigan (Tom) Sorensen, Braxton Lewis, Jacob Conlon, and Kyla Pearson; nephew, James Sorensen; grandma, Maurine Lewis; loving partner, Page Hill; two dogs, Oogie Boogie and Dino; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
