Connie Warren Burnside

“Klokldy”

Connie “Klokldy” Warren Burnside of Kaysville, Utah passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 13, 2024 in Farmington, UT. She was 86 years old.

She was born on January 9, 1938 in Price, Utah to Maude Johnson and Clifford Warren. She was the 2nd of 5 children.

She is survived by her husband, Mont Burnside, daughters Lana (Mark), Lisa (Mike) Lori and Kimberly (Brian), 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, sisters Elaine Boyack (George) and Maudeen Burton.

Connie grew up in Price and later attended BYU where she met the love of her life Mont. They were married on April 25, 1958 in the Manti Temple. They made their permanent home in Kaysville where they have resided for 58 years.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings.

Connie was always the life of the party. She loved all people, and they always gravitated towards her. She gave samples out at Sam’s Club for many years and the customers couldn’t wait to see her and her infectious smile and warm laugh. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She loved to collect clocks and over the years, collected 2,000 of them. She is known affectionally around Kaysville as the Klokldy. Daylight savings was an event at her house. She couldn’t wait for family and friends to visit so she could show them her latest animatronic find or newest clock. She adored anything that made a sound, from stuffed animals to yodeling pickles and you couldn’t leave her house without all the candy you could stuff in your pockets. Her door was always wide open, and everyone was welcome.
