On July 12, 2023 Connie Lucille Lines passed away peacefully at Legacy Village of Provo, where she had been living for the past five years. She was 81 years of age.
Connie was born on August 16, 1941 to Melbourne and Lucille Field. She grew up in North Ogden and attended Weber High School. Connie enjoyed attending both school and church. She was a pretty girl, and a beauty contest winner.
Connie married Ivan Hal Lines on March 30, 1961 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised six children and were loving and supportive parents. Connie and Hal also enjoyed going dancing and taking religion classes together. Connie loved attending General Conference in person on Temple Square in Salt Lake City.
Connie was an excellent cook and housekeeper. She was famous for her delicious cookies and other desserts. Connie loved to garden in her later years, and her yard was full of beautiful flowers. She was a hard worker, and rarely sat still.
Connie loved little children and enjoyed each child and grandchild's talents and accomplishments. She thought each child was wonderful.
Connie is survived by her children, Cherie Dickson, Todd Lines, Michael Lines, Rick Lines, Kenneth Lines, and Michele Manion; 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; siblings, Darrell Lines and Kathleen Orem. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Lines; daughter, Debra; her parents; and sister, Lu Gene.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 12 p.m. at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd
