Connie Lee Manning
A very special lady passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 from a short illness.
She was born on April 10, 1940 in Vernal, Utah the daughter of Kenneth LeRoy and Jessie Baldwin Davies.
Connie married Stanley P. Manning on June 27, 1957 in the Logan LDS Temple.
Connie worked at Antelope Elementary School where she developed many lasting friendships. She loved teaching and working with the children.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints and held many church positions and numerous callings.
She loved sewing, shopping and spending time with her family. Connie was a very giving and loving lady who cared very much for everyone. She was very independent and lived her life serving others.
Surviving are her four children, Stana (Jeff) Hodges, Shaun (Mindee) Manning, Jack D. (Lisa) Manning, Conn (Shawny) Manning all of West Point; grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, Cole, Kodee, Conner, Jackson, River, Gage and Kade, brother, Don Davies, sister, Shirley Hansen and Dian Davies.
Preceded in death by her husband Stanley P. Manning.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the West Point 16th Ward, 4383 W. 300 No., West Point. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, West Point Cemetery.
