Connie Jean Sims

Connie Jean Sims, 66, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at her home in Farmington, Utah.

Connie spent her entire life taking care of others.  She started her career as an RN with the VA Hospital and continued her education while expanding her career earning two masters degrees, participating in medical research studies and teaching nursing so that others could benefit from her experiences and knowledge.

In later years while working as a nurse practitioner, she focused on specialty care of patients in a home setting and promoting alternative natural treatments for pain and chronic conditions.

She will be missed by her husband, daughter and large extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 21, 2014 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends and family will meet from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services, with cremation to follow.
