Cookie Layton

COOKIE LAYTON October 11, 1952 – July 15, 2009 Our beloved wife, mother and yaya passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2009. Cookie Layton was born in Ely, Nevada on October 11, 1952, and moved to Clearfield in 1991. She worked at CitiGroup in Layton for 17 years in customer service. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting with friends, fishing, and spending time outdoors. She especially enjoyed spending time with her nine grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Anna Cobb both of Ely, Nevada and brother-in-law Kohy Layton of Clearfield, Utah. She is survived by her husband of 22 years Kexton, her sister Georgia Harmon, brother Tony Cobb, the Layton’s: Gale and Maxine, Mayland (Chris), Shaun (Julie), Marty (Patty), Thadd (Mary), son Jason (Karla) Layton, daughters Jill (Scott) Leach, Jami (Harry) Powell, Teryl (Braden) Call, Mindy (Adam) Bingham, and grandchildren: Allyson, Zachary, Ryan, Braxton, Baylee, Keelee, Tayven, Cohen, and Ava, numerous nieces and nephews and her life-long friend Vickie Pearce of Ely.
