Cora A. Trujillo

Cora A. Trujillo, age 76, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at her daughter and son-in-law’s home, Rita and Arnold Ortiz Sr. in Pocatello, Idaho surrounded by her family, after struggling with Dementia for many years.

Cora was born in Pagosa Springs, Colorado on February 13, 1939.  She married Lee Trujillo on December 24, 1953 in Ogden, Utah.  They later had three children Rita, Tammy, and Marty, they lived in Oakland, California and Layton, Utah.

Cora worked as a sheet-metal worker at HAFB, Utah and later retired.  Cora loved fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, camping with her husband Lee, her family and all her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Lee Trujillo, mother, Frances Valdez, father, Frank Archuleta, two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her three children, Rita (Arnold) Ortiz Sr., Tammy Trujillo, and Marty Trujillo, nine grandchildren, Arnold Ortiz Jr., Monique (Barry) Miranda, Damon (Sophie) Udy, Dustin (Christine) Udy, Freedom (Brian) Warren, Marty Trujillo Jr., Regina Trujillo, Dessie Trujillo, Corinne Trujillo, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild due August 2015 and one brother Mike Arguello.

The family would like to thank Hospice from Pocatello, Idaho for all their care and support.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
