Corey Michael Quintana

February 28, 1996 ~ December 28, 2017

Corey Michael Quintana, 21, passed away tragically following a motor vehicle accident on Thursday, December 28, 2017 in California. He was born February 28, 1996 in Ogden, UT, the eldest of two sons of Martin Corey and Celeste Kay Richardson Quintana. Corey graduated from Roy High School Class of 2014. He enjoyed his job at a country club as a bartender and waiter in Los Angeles called The Griffin Club.

Corey was loved by everyone he met. He had so much passion for life and such a big heart. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, and helping others. After his father died unexpectedly in 2015 Corey stepped up and became the man of the house. He missed his father so much and never really came to peace with his loss but he didn’t let his sadness keep him from working hard and being the best example for his younger brother that he could be.

Now Corey and Martin have been reunited.

Corey is survived by his mother, Celeste Kay Richardson, Boise, ID; brother, Chance Martin Quintana, Roy; grandparents, Larry Eugene Richardson, Twin Falls, ID, Filbert Quintana and Mary Garcia Quintana, both of Roy, Darlene Richardson, Farr West, and by his aunts, uncles, and cousins and by many friends.

Cremation services arranged courteously through Lindquist Ogden Mortuary for care in California.

Memorial services will be held Friday, January 12th at 5pm at Washington Heights Baptist Church, 1770 E 6200 S, South Ogden, UT.
