Corinne Fisher, 41, returned home to her Heavenly Father on July 3, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 10, 1978 in South Weymouth Massachusetts to Edward and Veronica Hetman. She graduated from East Bridgewater High School and LDS Seminary. After graduating high school, she attended Ricks College in pursuit of a psychology degree. While attending Ricks she met Ty Johnson. They were married May 1, 1998 in Clark County, Nevada. Later Ty joined the Army and they moved to Fort Campbell, KY. They had two children Kyrstin and Rand. While serving in the military Ty was killed in action.
Corinne and two children (Kyrstin and Rand) moved to Syracuse, UT and into the Huckleberry Ward in November 2006. Corinne was at that time a widow and had moved here to raise her two children. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and while attending church met her eternal sweetheart, Bradley Raymond Fisher while he was teaching Sunday School and after a year of dating were married in the Bountiful Temple April 26, 2008 and they have one child together Matthew Raymond Fisher. Although Kyrstin and Rand kept their last name of Johnson they were also sealed to Bradley and Corinne for time and all eternity.
She loved music, going on walks with her children and going to the gym. She also loved baking and would often cook her famous banana bread and give them to friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Huckleberry Ward, 1285 S. 2500 W., Syracuse. Friends may visit family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
