CORINNE LEE JOHNSON MALONEY
1960-2020
Corinne Lee Johnson Maloney died December 6th, 2020 in Bountiful, Utah from heart complications. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 31, 1960. She was adopted into a loving home by Carol Menlove and Arnold “Bill” Johnson. As a beautiful blonde child, she was the oldest of four; she was followed by her brothers Wesley, Matthew and Walter.
Alongside her parents and brothers, she loved her time working for the family business at Menlove Dodge Toyota. It was there she met, the service manager, Sean Maloney, future husband and father of her two daughters Kathryn Anne and Kristin Jean. They enjoyed a long 8 year courtship where they loved boating, skiing, spending time with friends, and traveling. They were married February 22, 1986. In September of that year they welcomed their firstborn child, Kathryn Anne. Upon the arrival of their second child, Kristin Jean, they moved up Canyon Creek, a house she loved so dear.
Corinne always loved having and caring for her pets. Jasmine was her Great Dane who she loved very much until her passing at Corinne’s most recent house on Millbrook Way. Emma, her miniature schnauzer was another one of her pets she so dearly loved. In 2006 she acquired a cabin in the High Uintas where she preferred to spend her time with her friends and family along with her pets. She loved hiking, fishing, playing in the river, gazing at the clear night sky and all stars where she now dwells. She was an incredible photographer and always enjoyed making calendars for her friends and family where she would highlight her prized photos of sunsets and flowers. She loved traveling and had a knack and love for golf as well.
Corinne had a beautiful heart, one that would empathize with anyone, for any reason. She was a true giver; she would always help anyone she could. The light her soul brought into this life would light up a room. To know her is to love her. She was a pure soul full of love, and the world has lost a gleam of light in her absence. Her curiosity and humor led her to have many friends, and she was adored by those who knew her. She was a witty lady and liked to see others smile; she would do anything for her children, with whom she spent a lot of time.
Corinne is preceded in death by her father, her mother, and her beloved brother Walter. She will be laid to rest alongside them at Bountiful City Cemetery. She is survived by her brothers: Wesley and Matthew and their families; and her children: Kathryn and Kristin and their families, including her first grandchild, Aurora.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on December 17, 2020 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 North 400 East, Bountiful, Utah 84010, where friends and family may visit from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
