Cory L. Dunn
ROY – Cory Lee Dunn, 65, died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 27, 1944 in Tremonton, Utah, a son of Wallace William and Lou Forsberg Dunn.
On February 14, 1992, Cory married Shelia Dunn in Farmington.
Cory served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He retired from Hill Air Force Base following many years of service as a mechanic and machinist.
Cory was a patient and kind man. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, and always had a steady supply of cookies for them. He was a member of the American Legion Post 134, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Roy, and Golden Spike Trap Club. Cory enjoyed, hunting, fishing, golf and billiards.
Surviving are his children, Wallace (Lyndee) Dunn, Christie (Richard) Fewkes, Brenda (Drew) Heslop; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also surviving is one brother, Chris (Mary Ann) Dunn.
Preceding Cory in death were his wife Shelia, parents and brothers, Gail Dunn and Bob Dunn.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., with Military Honors.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.
