Cory Glen Furse passed away on October 20, 2015. He was born on October 29, 1981 to Gwendolyn Rae and Ronald Robisin Furse. He grew up in Clinton, UT.
Cory married Wanda Wagstaff on June 7, 2008 and had two beautiful sons: Gage Michael and Skylar Allan, they were his world. Cory’s children made his life complete.
Cory shared his love of the outdoors with his sons; he took them fishing and camping when feeling up to it.
In 2011, Cory was diagnosed with pancreatitis, which didn’t deter him from spending every moment he could enjoying the outdoors. His last days were spent in the sunshine at his favorite place high in the mountains.
Cory made friends easily and considered those closest to him as family. His compassionate and generous nature was felt by all who knew him.
After Cory’s diagnosis, he spent a lot of his time reconnecting with his family and setting up tribute pages to those crossed over before him. He was excited to attend the Furse Family Reunion in Monroe, UT, where he spent time with loved ones he hadn’t seen in years. He spoke of it often.
Although his life was short, he lived it to the fullest, leaving a lasting impression on all those who knew him.
Cory is survived by his children, Gage Michael Furse and Skylar Allan Furse; mother, Gwendolyn Rae Furse; brother, Ronnie Iwan Furse; sister, Heather Furse; nephews, Forrest Walraven, Jedidiah Furse, and Robert Widdison; nieces, Serenity Star Furse, and Savannah Sky Furse.
