Courtney Elin Wiser Familo, born March 18, 1985, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022, surrounded by family.
Courtney loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. She loved to ski and worked as a ski instructor at Powder Mountain ski resort. She also loved to participate in competitive shooting events, where she won several competitions. She loved football, particularly the Green Bay Packers.
Courtney had an astonishing love for her daughter, Hanna, and would do anything to make Hanna laugh and be happy. Courtney and Hanna did a lot of fun activities together.
Courtney was an ambitious person, and hard worker. She most recently worked as a sales representative for Pepsi, where she performed many job duties and received several promotions.
Courtney is survived by her daughter Hanna, her girlfriend Holly, parents Bud and Claudeen Wiser, siblings Brian Bair, Amy Bair and Abbie Wiser and her niece Kaylee Bair. She is preceded in death by her brother David Wiser, her nephew Brian J Bair (Beej), grandparents Lawrence and Bernice Wiser, and grandparents Dean and Dorothy Lallis.
Courtney is also survived by many family members and friends who love her very much.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff who worked very hard to help Courtney and make her comfortable.
Memorial Services for Courtney will be held Tuesday January 3, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., followed by an open house from 2:30-4:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd, Layton, Utah. A luncheon will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the LDS church at 700 S. 2500 W., Syracuse, Utah.
Interment will be held at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton at a later date.
