Craig Child

Craig D Child, 70, died Saturday April 9, 2022, in Ogden, Utah. He passed holding his wife’s hand, surrounded by their children and family. Craig was born September 25, 1951, in Logan Utah, the oldest child of Norinne Daines and Sherman Child.

Craig is remembered by his wife of 40 years, Cerie Child, and his 4 children: Garrett Litz (Ogden), Neasha Moore (Layton), Taigon Child (South Ogden), and Cheyenne Child (Layton), and his grandchildren, Kennedie, Bailey, Broden, Aibree and Luke. He also leaves his brother Robert Kurt Child (Lisa) and a brother-in-Law Michael Smith. He was proceeded in death by both parents, his sister Lee Ann Smith and his youngest grandson Luke.

Craig was an unabashed cowboy that loved everything about horses, rodeo, fishing and the western way of life. He spent as much time as possible fishing, riding and being in the outdoors. His proudest movements were of holding his grandchildren and teaching each of them to fish and ride horses.
