C. Richard “Dick” Craine

C. Richard “Dick” Craine, 67, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 9, 2014.  He was born on July 10, 1945 to Conway Hilton Craine and Margaret Florence Thurston Talbot in Ogden.  He attended Weber County Schools and graduated from Weber High School.

He married Nelma G. McVey. They later divorced.  He married Dixie Kathy Montes and she passed away in January of 2000.  He married Angela Cleverly Rankin on December 24, 2005.

Dick worked as a long haul truck driver, loving every mile.

Dick loved spending time with his grandkids.  He enjoyed reading, fishing, horseback riding and was a member of the American Legion.

Dick is survived by his wife, Angela Cleverly Craine, Farr West; sons, Shaun Jeffrey Craine, Spanish Fork; and Clifford (Ashley) Rankin, Sunset; daughters, Kellie Ann Munger, Winnemucca, NV; Dion Lazenby, Layton; Mandy (Jeremy) Harned, Farr West; and Michelle (Dustin) Duay, Laramie, WY; 14 grandchildren, Paeden, JaeCee, MyKenna, Gage, Hunter, Logan, Ryan, Destiny, Michael, Melanie, Zander, Elizabeth, Jacob and Joey; mother, Margaret Thurston Talbot, Washington Terrace; brothers, Lynn Craine, Washington Terrace, LaMont Talbot, Ogden; and Ted Talbot, Ogden; and sisters, Elaine, Barbara, Marilyn, and Launa.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy, his father, and sister, Marla Valencia.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
